I am these tears ...no one wears them

whose heart sings these wind songs
or do they just pass through
like suns and moons sliding through sky
like stars and their shadows swirling on the sidewalk
and the battered leaves from last nights storm
trampled on by morning footsteps
swept into whirlpools
memories swirling
November skies
paint your heart
wash it with grays and blues
and hang it on the line
for the wind to scatter your tears
and watch the impossibly beautiful dream
of love songs

And what lies at the marrow of your heart?
What burns even it’s own flame?
Without a name
Can you find it?

Love lightly skims the ocean of sound
Words form skins separating
Inside and outside
To bite your teeth
Taste your breath
Wet your tears
And melt your heart
Love songs break the sound barrier between never and forever
Echoing fathomless depths
And infinite sky
It is
You are
the heart of intimacy
Which has no boundary
Or time
Yet you are time bound...
Earth bound...
Sky bound...
Imaginary boundaries
Cannot be erased

Falling from suspended heights
Kite swoops and wheels
Her cry ricochets between the tall buildings
A pigeon feather on the sidewalk
I am last nights love dream

I am a girl a woman... a songster... there has been a profound shift in perspective that occurred in my brain... there is always a childlike wonder... the big wow consumed me! but the big wow had never left... it was merely not recognized...
I do not know any children, so have no preference to hang out with them! I see everyone as unutterably beautiful and I weep that they cannot see their own beauty... I am this flow of the brains reactions... whether childlike or adult I have no clue and no longer think about such labels.

Lightning strikes the mountain and cleaves your heart
The lassos of words never captured a piece of sky
This sensuous liquid love dance has no parts yet we seem to feel they have split apart this atemporal seamlessness into time and space and a you and a me who sing of love and death and a sunrise streaming through the window in the cold autumn fog...

midnight moon
sings your name
calls you to gaze at your reflection
in the river
darkly darkly
liquid sky
liquid you
softly softly
creeping
the dawn of silence
no one awakens to the death of tomorrow
yet who is dancing naked as moon glow?

You are the river as it moves you and flows through you
Gazing upon itself and it’s beautiful wetness
Weeping
Sliding into and through its own reflection
Echoes of beauty sing themselves
Like this

Moonlight pours down the canyon
Echoing infinitely within its own reflection...
Life as love streams through these timeless empty streets of mind as the feeling of undefinable beauty
washing through beauty

Love
Falling in love
Without a center or edge...
It is this very song
That creates the feeling of intimacy
And distance...
Where are these words you read
When you read them
Where is the tree
That you see right here in front of you?
Or on the next block?
Or in a story book...
Where is the wind-song?
In the air?
On your tender cheek?
In your heart?
Where is love?

this fathomless unwritten story of natural spontaneity writes and erases itself
without beginning or ending
Love ever blooms
Ever wilts...

She danced on the edge of infinity
Tossing her missives of love
Watching the skimming light
Hearing her echo
Resound the sea’s refrain...
There is no tomorrow...

She longed to gather the echos
Of night and day and night
And slide them into songs
That would pierce the strongest of hearts
love’s heart magic
Roars

walking alongside the deep autumn river
as it sings your name
you watch the echo of your footfalls
slide into the water
colored leaves and moonlight dance
through your shadow
time collapsed into itself
for just a kiss
where did it go
when was it ever
where is the space between your breath
and midnight

how wide the wingspan of light
reflecting empty songs
colliding with infinity
exploding the marrow of love

the wildest of winds
cannot harness air
words weave this tattered fabric
with disappearing ink

rosaries of pressed petals
dreams of tomorrow
weigh heavily in your heart
calloused fingers
cannot hold love

prayers cannot capture the colors of your heart
tears cannot pool in this bottomless treasure chest
it is the streaming
the falling
the disappearing
the whoosh
this tremendous undoing
this fragile tenderness
your beautiful blooming
and wilting
petals illumined by their own sunset
this treasure of rainbows end
cannot be captured
nothing can

Cactus trees and tumble weed dreams
Swirl in mirages on the endless road
‘Ahead ahead’ no longer beckons
Countless dusty trails unwind
Into the echo of night

Moon and her reflection
Kiss upon the sea of dreams
Feeling the weight of light
Saturate your eyes
Your blood
Your bones
Your heart
Submerge your reflection in sky

Echoes cascade down the canyon
Dance through naked tree shadows
Slip through their reflections
Kiss your lips
Chanting enchantments
A lullaby of dreams
A fairytale of many things
Sings itself
Fades...
Brightly colored afterimages swirl
Make no imprint
There is no dance floor in this wind ballet
Of light in light
Yet shadows dance and sing
A morning bird perched on a forgotten branch
Echoes my delight

River of wind
A thousand mornings
Breathe

Clouds rise from misty waters
Punctuate the sky with wInd flowers
Lost in autumn’s sigh
A shadow soars across the lake
Kisses her reflection
Through my lips
This song of a thousand shadows
Pours through these wind tattered sails
Sunset blossoms

Evening lights a candle
Beacon for midnight
Moon has no face
And does not weep
I have no face
Only tears

Lightening shatters the sky
Into a million diamonds
Scattered at your feet
Shards of moon
Pierce deeply

Water falls into its own shadow
Cascade of rain
River of stars
Tsunami of midnight
No words will hide you
From the world’s tears

Sun
Empty street
Tears fall into their own echo

Where is the dark
That never stopped your heart
From bathing in its own light

Dawn slides through wind
My heart hanging
Golden leaves falling
I waltz through this ballet
Of lanterned shadows

Fingerprint of time
Unraveled it’s whorls and swirls
Shadows fell out of the Dreamtime cloudscape
Crystalline echoes poured through the hourglass as it shattered
Sound of diamonds sliced the sky
Pierced my bones
My blood spattered windshield cracked
The marrow of love bled
into these Heart Songs that ruptured eternity
Collided on the edge of infinity
I fell out of never and forever
Weeping
I am these tears
No one wears them
